The series also focuses on the relationship between the Mercandağ and Hozan families. Their rivalry is not based on a single disagreement; it is connected to past events, unresolved anger and secrets that continue to affect the younger generation.

As Cemre searches for the truth, she must decide whom she can trust. The mystery surrounding her missing husband becomes connected to a much larger story involving love, revenge, family power and buried history.
