Güneşin Doğduğu Yer Episode 4

The fourth episode of the Turkish drama Güneşin Doğduğu Yer aired on ATV on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 20:00 Türkiye time. Its official episode description puts several relationships under pressure at once: Ceyhun makes a risky move that shakes Kenan’s trust, Leyla keeps trying to prove her innocence, and Hanzade is caught between her brother and her husband. This guide separates details confirmed in ATV’s Episode 4 promotion from questions the broadcaster has not answered publicly.

Episode 4 story: what the official synopsis confirms

Ceyhun’s decision is the episode’s clearest turning point. ATV says his risky move damages Kenan’s confidence in his closest friend. That description signals a serious fracture, but it does not establish every motive behind Ceyhun’s action or confirm that the two men’s partnership is over. The tension matters because their connection is personal as well as practical: Ceyhun and Kenan have built a close bond while working together.

Kenan is also struggling to keep control after Leyla’s return. The official synopsis describes him as increasingly unsettled, while Leyla is once again misunderstood and continues trying to prove that she is innocent. The story therefore places the audience between two related questions: what does Kenan believe about Leyla, and will anyone give her a fair chance to explain what happened?

Hanzade faces a different kind of pressure. New truths leave her caught between her brother, Ceyhun, and her husband, Kenan. That conflict draws the Atahanlı and Kozan families into the same dispute. A personal choice for Hanzade could affect the trust and cooperation between both households.

ATV’s description also warns that Celadet’s growing anger may have serious consequences for Munise. It does not specify exactly what will happen to Munise, so claims about her fate would go beyond the confirmed information. Another unresolved thread is the arrival of a person from the past who joins the Kozan plans. The official promotion says this newcomer’s real purpose threatens Celadet’s scheme, but it does not identify the person or reveal the full motive.

How Episode 4 follows the previous chapter

The official Episode 3 page sets up the change in Kenan and Ceyhun’s relationship. Leyla’s reunion with her son Emir is brief, and she tries to find her way in Adana as rumors increase tension between the Kozan and Atahanlı families. Ceyhun’s suspicions push him toward a risky step that changes the balance between the characters.

Episode 4 follows the consequences of that choice rather than starting a separate storyline. Ceyhun’s action now affects his friendship with Kenan, while Leyla’s effort to establish the truth continues against a backdrop of family suspicion. This continuity helps explain why the episode’s conflicts overlap: one decision can reshape a friendship, a marriage and a business alliance at the same time.

Why Kenan and Ceyhun’s conflict matters

Ceyhun is not simply an outsider challenging the Kozans. ATV describes him as the elder son of the Atahanlı family, the person who took responsibility for its business after his father’s death, and someone who sees Kenan as a brother. Their friendship is therefore one of the ties connecting the two families.

When Kenan’s trust in Ceyhun weakens, the consequences can reach beyond the two men. Their families are linked through business and marriage, so even a private disagreement may make cooperation harder. The official synopsis does not say whether the rift will be repaired; for now, the important change is that Kenan has reason to question someone he once trusted.

Leyla, Kenan and Hanzade

Leyla’s return keeps the emotional story moving, but the episode description focuses on her struggle to prove her innocence rather than announcing a final resolution. That distinction matters: the official material confirms that she faces misunderstanding, not that every person around her accepts her account.

Hanzade’s position makes the tension more complicated. She is Ceyhun’s sister and Kenan’s wife, so the new revelations place family loyalty and her marriage on opposite sides of the same conflict. The synopsis does not reveal what Hanzade will decide. It does confirm that she must respond to facts that affect both her brother and her husband.

Cast and characters in Episode 4

The main characters connected to the episode’s confirmed conflicts are:

• Burak Özçivit as Kenan Kozan
• Görkem Sevindik as Ceyhun Atahanlı
• Beyza Gümülcine as Leyla Breger
• Hilal Anay as Hanzade Atahanlı
• Sibel Taşçıoğlu as Celadet Kozan
• Nazlıcan Demir as Munise Kozan

ATV’s official character guide provides more background on the characters and their family connections. The wider series story begins with Kenan and Leyla’s relationship in Germany and moves into the world of powerful families in 1990s Adana. That shift from a private romance to a family struggle is why choices made by Kenan, Leyla and Ceyhun can affect so many people around them.

English subtitles and episode availability

ATV confirms the Turkish broadcast and publishes official promotional material, but that information alone does not confirm an English-subtitle release in every country or on every service. Subtitle availability can differ by platform and territory, so viewers should check the specific episode listing before expecting an English track.

The Turkish123 Where the Sun Rises series guide is the internal page to follow for episode listings and verified updates. In the latest public check for this article, that guide displayed Episodes 1–3; it did not yet show an Episode 4 entry. The Episode 4 subtitle status should be marked available only after the episode page and English subtitles have been checked. This keeps the title useful without promising a stream or subtitle track that has not been confirmed.
